Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 06/05/2026

These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using this website and purchasing products from Quality Roofing Supplies Ltd. By using our website, creating an account, placing an order or contacting us through the website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order. If you do not agree with them, you should not use this website or purchase products from us.

1. Who We Are

This website is operated by Quality Roofing Supplies Ltd.

Throughout these Terms and Conditions, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Quality Roofing Supplies Ltd. “You” and “your” refer to the customer, website visitor or person placing an order.

2. About This Website

Our website allows customers to browse and purchase roofing supplies, roof edge trims, flat roofing accessories and related products online.

We aim to keep the website accurate, up to date and available. However, we cannot guarantee that the website will always be free from errors, interruptions, technical issues or temporary unavailability.

We may update, change, suspend or withdraw parts of the website at any time without notice.

3. Who Can Use This Website

You may use this website if you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

Our products may be purchased by consumers, tradespeople, businesses and organisations. Some terms may apply differently depending on whether you are buying as a consumer or as a business customer.

If you are buying on behalf of a business, company or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to place the order and agree to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of that business, company or organisation.

4. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications, dimensions, colours, prices and availability are accurate. However, small differences may occur.

Product images are for illustrative purposes only. The actual product may vary slightly from the images shown on the website due to lighting, screen settings, manufacturing variations, supplier changes or product updates.

You are responsible for checking that a product is suitable for your intended use before ordering. If you are unsure which product you need, please contact us before placing your order.

Any guidance, product advice or recommendations we provide are given in good faith based on the information available to us. It remains your responsibility to ensure that the product is suitable for your project, installation method, building requirements and any relevant regulations.

5. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability. We may update or remove products from the website at any time.

If a product you have ordered is unavailable, delayed or discontinued, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. We may offer an alternative product, revised delivery estimate or refund.

6. Prices

Product prices are shown on the website in pounds sterling (£).

Prices may be shown inclusive or exclusive of VAT depending on how the website is configured. The checkout page will show the total price payable before you place your order.

Delivery charges, where applicable, will be shown separately during checkout before you complete your purchase.

We may change product prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted by us, unless there has been an obvious pricing error.

7. Pricing Errors

We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct. However, pricing errors may occasionally occur.

If we discover that a product has been listed at an incorrect price, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price, or we may cancel the order and issue a refund.

We are not required to supply a product at an incorrect price where the pricing error is obvious and could reasonably have been recognised as a mistake.

8. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.

After placing an order, you may receive an automatic order acknowledgement by email. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

A contract between you and us is formed when we accept your order. This may happen when we send an order confirmation email, begin processing your order, dispatch the products or otherwise confirm acceptance.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where:

  • The product is unavailable.
  • There is an error in the price or product description.
  • Payment has not been authorised or has failed.
  • We suspect fraud, misuse or unauthorised activity.
  • Delivery to your address is not possible or practical.
  • You have provided incomplete or incorrect information.
  • We are unable to fulfil the order for any other reasonable business reason.

9. Account Registration

You may be able to create an account on our website to view previous orders, save addresses and manage your details.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and confidential. You must not share your account login details with anyone else.

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account or placing an order.

We may suspend or close an account if we believe it has been misused, used fraudulently or used in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

10. Payment

Payment must be made at the time of placing your order unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

We use Stripe to process online payments securely. Stripe may allow payments by debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or other payment methods depending on what is enabled at checkout.

We do not store your full card number or card security code on our website. Payment information is processed by Stripe in accordance with Stripe’s own terms, security processes and privacy policy. Stripe’s services agreement governs its services for business users, and Stripe’s payment method terms apply to supported payment methods.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided and that the billing information you supply is accurate.

If your payment is declined, delayed, reversed, disputed or flagged for additional checks, we may delay or cancel your order.

11. Security Checks and Fraud Prevention

We may carry out checks to prevent fraud, protect customers and protect our business.

If we suspect that an order is fraudulent, unauthorised or suspicious, we may contact you for further information, delay dispatch, cancel the order or report the matter to the relevant payment provider or authority.

12. Delivery

We deliver to addresses within mainland UK.

Delivery options, costs and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout where applicable. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.

We will make reasonable efforts to deliver products within the estimated timeframe. However, delays may occur due to courier delays, supplier issues, stock availability, weather, access problems, high demand or circumstances outside our control.

We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect delivery information supplied by you or where no one is available to receive the delivery.

13. Delivery Access and Large Items

Some roofing products may be long, bulky, heavy or awkward to handle. You must ensure that the delivery address is suitable and accessible for the delivery method used.

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details, including any access restrictions, parking limitations, narrow roads, height restrictions, site instructions or special delivery requirements.

If delivery cannot be completed because access is unsuitable, information is incorrect or no one is available to receive the goods, you may be responsible for any failed delivery, redelivery or return charges.

14. Receiving Your Delivery

You should inspect the delivery as soon as reasonably possible after receiving it.

If items are missing, damaged or visibly defective, please contact us as soon as possible and provide your order number, photographs and details of the issue.

If a courier asks you to sign for delivery, you should only sign as received in good condition if you have had the opportunity to check the goods and they appear undamaged. If damage is visible, please mark this with the courier where possible.

15. Risk and Ownership

Risk in the products passes to you when the products are delivered to the delivery address you provided, or when they are collected by you or a person authorised by you.

Ownership of the products passes to you once we have received full payment for the products and any applicable delivery charges.

16. Cancellations by Consumers

If you are buying as a consumer, you usually have the right to cancel your online order within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason. UK government guidance confirms that online, mail and telephone order customers generally have cancellation rights for a limited time, even where the item is not faulty.

To cancel, you must tell us clearly that you wish to cancel. You can do this by emailing us at enquiries@qualityroofingsupplies.co.uk or contacting us using the details on our website.

After telling us you wish to cancel, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

Returned goods must be unused, in their original condition and, where possible, in their original packaging.

17. Exceptions to Consumer Cancellation Rights

Your right to cancel may not apply to certain products, including:

  • Products made to your specification or clearly personalised.
  • Products cut, altered, mixed or manufactured to your specific requirements.
  • Products that have been installed, used, damaged or handled beyond what is necessary to inspect them.
  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, where applicable.
  • Any other products excluded from cancellation rights under applicable law.

This does not affect your legal rights if goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or not fit for purpose.

18. Returns and Refunds for Consumers

If you cancel an order within the legal cancellation period and return the goods in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, we will refund the price paid for the returned goods.

Where required by law, we will also refund the standard delivery charge paid for the original delivery. We are not required to refund extra delivery costs if you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard delivery option.

You are responsible for the cost of returning goods unless the goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or we have agreed otherwise.

We may reduce your refund if the value of the goods has been reduced because you handled them more than was necessary to check their nature, characteristics and function.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided evidence that you have returned them.

19. Business and Trade Returns

If you are buying as a business, trade customer or organisation, consumer cancellation rights may not apply.

Business and trade returns are accepted at our discretion unless the goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or we have agreed specific return terms in writing.

Where we agree to a business or trade return, the goods must usually be unused, undamaged, in resaleable condition and returned in their original packaging. Restocking charges and return delivery charges may apply.

20. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

If your products arrive faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number, details of the issue and clear photographs where relevant.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a repair, replacement, refund or other appropriate solution.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.

21. Product Installation and Use

Products must be installed and used correctly, safely and in accordance with any manufacturer instructions, product guidance, industry standards and applicable regulations.

We are not responsible for issues caused by incorrect installation, misuse, poor workmanship, unsuitable products being selected, failure to follow instructions, site conditions, weather exposure during installation or changes made to the product after delivery.

If you are not suitably qualified or experienced, you should seek advice from a professional roofer, contractor or installer before installing roofing products.

22. Measurements and Product Suitability

You are responsible for ensuring that all measurements, quantities, product types, colours, finishes and specifications are correct before placing an order.

We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect measurements, incorrect quantities or ordering products that are unsuitable for your project.

If you need help choosing products, please contact us before ordering.

23. Manufacturer Warranties

Some products may come with a manufacturer warranty or guarantee. Any such warranty is provided by the manufacturer and may be subject to separate terms, exclusions and claim procedures.

A manufacturer warranty does not replace your statutory rights.

24. Website Content

The content on our website is provided for general information only. It should not be treated as professional building, roofing, design, engineering, surveying, legal or regulatory advice.

Although we try to keep product information accurate and useful, you should always check suitability, installation requirements and compliance before purchasing or installing products.

25. Acceptable Use of the Website

You agree not to misuse our website. You must not:

  • Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server, customer accounts or connected systems.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, harmful code or other malicious technology.
  • Copy, scrape, reproduce or exploit website content without permission.
  • Interfere with the normal operation, security or performance of the website.
  • Submit false, misleading or offensive information.

We may restrict, suspend or block access to the website if we believe it is being misused.

26. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, graphics, logos, design, layout, product descriptions and branding, belongs to us or our licensors unless stated otherwise.

You may use the website for personal or internal business purchasing purposes only. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify or exploit any part of the website without our written permission.

27. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience only.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, terms or security of third-party websites.

28. Reviews, Feedback and User Content

If you submit a review, testimonial, comment, image or other content to us or through the website, you confirm that it is accurate, lawful and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

We may moderate, edit, refuse or remove user-submitted content where we consider it inappropriate, misleading, unlawful, offensive or irrelevant.

By submitting content, you give us permission to use it for reasonable business purposes, including displaying reviews or testimonials on our website and marketing materials.

29. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us breaking these Terms and Conditions or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable.

If you are a business customer, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for:

  • Loss of profit, revenue, business or contracts.
  • Loss of goodwill or reputation.
  • Loss of anticipated savings.
  • Business interruption.
  • Indirect or consequential loss.
  • Loss caused by incorrect installation, misuse, unsuitable product selection or incorrect measurements.

For business customers, our total liability in connection with an order will not exceed the price paid for the products in that order, unless the law says otherwise.

30. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Such events may include courier delays, supplier delays, strikes, transport disruption, extreme weather, fire, flood, accidents, shortages, cyber incidents, utility failures, changes in law, pandemics or other circumstances beyond our control.

31. Privacy and Personal Information

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and what rights you have.

32. Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The version in force at the time you place an order will apply to that order. The latest version will always be available on this page.

33. Severance

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that part will be treated as removed, but the rest of the Terms and Conditions will continue to apply.

34. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce any part of these Terms and Conditions, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.

35. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

If you are a business customer, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions, the website or any order.
